Please help the Knights of Columbus with their second annual tradition of helping needy families here in Lebanon for Thanksgiving. They will be deep frying and preparing 150 Thanksgiving meals for local families in need. On the Wednesday, November 21 (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving) we will gather at St. Francis to fry, to cook, to box, to share and to be grateful for the many gifts we have been given as we provide a complete meal for families in need.
We start with daily Mass, then set up and start cooking around 9am. We should be done cooking by 2pm, with meals ready for pickup between 1 & 5pm. Last names starting with: G-L - canned corn
Last names starting with: M-O - canned green beans
Last names starting with: P-U - boxed mashed potatoes
Last names starting with: V-Z - canned cranberry sauce
We will also take any monetary donations to buy the turkeys, pies, rolls, and bags of oranges. Donations for Turkey Day can be made by check to the Knights of Columbus 14408 with Turkey Day written in the memo, and turned in to the Parish Office or the Turkey Day Basket in the School Foyer.
