This is a wonderful resource that will broaden your view of what it means to be 'Prolife". Racism is probably not the issue you think of when it comes to Being Prolife. THe March episode of the podcast covers exactly why racism is and must still be a respect life issue in our world.
DAYTON: Oral Arguments on Abortionist Martin Haskell’s Clinic Next Tuesday, the Second District Court of Appeals in Dayton will hear oral arguments in the case Women’s Med Center of Dayton v. State of Ohio Department of Health. This case involves the Women’s Med Center license. Women’s Med Center was unable to obtain a transfer agreement several years ago and the Ohio Department of Health denied their variance request. Once the variance was denied, ODH ordered them to close. Martin Haskell, the main abortionist, filed a lawsuit in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. The judge ruled that she didn't have jurisdiction in the matter and let the state order of closure stand. The judge granted a motion to Haskell to allow his doors to remain open while he appealed the closure. That appeal will be next Tuesday in front of a three judge panel. Pro-Life Attorney General Dave Yost’s office will defend the Ohio Department of Health’s decision. The oral arguments for the day begin at 9:30 A.M, but the Women’s Med Center case is scheduled for 10:30 A.M. To view the docket, click here. DETAILS: Date: Tuesday, March 12, 2019 Time: 10:30 A.M. Location: 41 N. Perry Street, Dayton, OH 45422, Fifth Floor We hope there will be a strong showing of pro-life people at this oral argument.
The parish region of St. Francis de Sales and St. Philip the Apostle have signed up to particpate in the Spring Campaign 2019 Campaign. PLEASE JOIN US on some or all of the dates selected by our parish region or sign up through the 40 days for Life link on your own. This prayer was written by Father Weldishofer and is read each year on the March for Life bus trip. This explains why we continue this pilgrimage each year and is a beautiful prayer to share and say each day. Click title above to see more.
Our January bus trip to Washington D.C. was a optimistic representation of how we desire to build a culture of life as a parish community. A group of parishioners from St. Francis de Sales marched with hundreds of thousands people to promote the need to respect life at all stages, from conception to natural death. THANK YOU Deb and Phil Frederick for organizing the trip and making it a great experience! Save the date for 2020! The March will be Friday 1/24/20 and the bus will leave Thursday am and return in the very early morning hours on Sat.
